How do I register for online banking?

You can register for online banking through our Banking app or online. Either way, once you've registered, you can use both our Banking app and our Internet Bank.

If you've recently opened an account with us

You'll need to wait 6 working days before registering to use the Banking app and Internet Bank, just to make sure you're fully set up on our systems.


If you opened your account online, you’ll automatically be registered and your login details will be sent to you in the post (this usually takes around 7 working days).

Register in the Banking app

From your mobile or tablet, download the app and open it to get started. You'll need your account number and your sort code if you have one.

Register online

Just make sure you have your account number and sort code to hand. We’ll send you two codes, one by text message and one by email, so you can prove it’s really you registering.

Visit us in branch

Just pop into your nearest branch and a member of the team will be happy to help you register. Remember, if you opened your account in branch, you may already have opted in for internet banking.
