Coronavirus (COVID-19) and travel insurance

FlexPlus Travel insurance has changed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. If you’re thinking about opening a FlexPlus account, make sure you read the Summary of Changes document as this forms part of your policy.

You are no longer covered for cancelling your trip due to COVID-19 or a pandemic, before you travel, unless it is for medical reasons. This applies to all trips booked, or new accounts opened, on or after 1 January 2021.

FlexPlus Insurance products & account benefits

FlexPlus comes with a range of quality insurance products and account benefits, providing reassurance for you and your family when you need it. If you're happy FlexPlus will benefit you, then you could save money if you already have travel, mobile phone and breakdown cover in place.

Don’t forget there’s just one monthly fee so if you have a joint FlexPlus account you still pay just £13 per month, but you both can benefit.

It is not possible to have a FlexPlus current account without the insurance benefits and FlexPlus is not available to buy separately.
