Home insurance at a glance

You can choose to get a quote for:

  • buildings insurance
  • contents insurance, or
  • combined buildings and contents insurance.

You can also add optional extras to your policy for an additional cost, only paying for the cover you need.

Buildings insurance

We'll cover the cost of repairing or rebuilding your home, including its garages and outbuildings. This includes fixtures and fittings, such as kitchen units and bathroom suites.

We’ll pay to put these things right if they get damaged by something covered by your policy, like a fire, storm or flood.

You can choose between two levels of buildings cover:

  • Essentials up to £1,000,000
  • Enhanced unlimited.

Contents insurance

We'll cover the cost of repairing or replacing the contents in your home or garden such as carpets, furniture, clothing and jewellery.

You can choose between two levels of contents cover:

  • Essentials up to £50,000
  • Enhanced unlimited.

Contents insurance for renters

If you’re renting your home, you can take out insurance for your contents. This will also protect you against some damage to your landlord’s property.
