View your account balance or get a statement online
How to check your balance, account statement and statement history using our Banking app, the Internet Bank or by using Apple Pay.
View your account balance
You’ll have to register before you can use online banking.
Using the Banking app
To get your account balance in the Banking app:
- Log in to the Banking app.
- Select the account you wish to view from the list.
You can view and download current account, savings and credit card statements from the last 36 months, from My Documents, where you can also find letters about your accounts.
In the Internet Bank
Through the internet bank you can view and download current account, savings and credit card statements from the last 36 months, by selecting My Documents. You can also search and filter your transaction data.
Get set up for online banking
You’ll have to register before you can bank with us online. Registering for the Internet Bank is fast and you can do it at home. You’ll just need your account details.
Using Apple Pay
You'll need to have an Apple device compatible with Apple Pay and have your debit or credit card added to the Apple Wallet app.
How to set up Apple Pay in your Apple device
In Apple Pay you can view your:
- debit or credit card account balance
- balance transaction history up to two years
- payments that are due.
Instructions for connecting your account in the Wallet app
- On your iPhone, open the Wallet app.
- Tap your Nationwide card to connect.
- Tap the dotted More button in the top right corner of your mobile screen, then tap Card Details.
- Tap Get Account Balance & Activity to connect your account to provide your consent and authenticate your identity.
Privacy and security
This feature is designed to help keep your account details secure, protect your privacy and keep you in control of your data. You can remove your account connection at any time.
